and replaced the 1/4"-20 threaded stud UNC with longers ones (x1 1/2" and x1" )
I wanted to get the 3 legs aligned and the center leg correctly attached to the frame in this position, so I've used some spacers : Threaded Steel Bungs 1/4-20 x 1" Thread to maintain the bottom battery plate (on which the center foot is attached) on the frame in a good position
I've used some head button screws 1/4-20 UNC x 1" with Lock washers Stainless on the top of the plate
now in 2 legs mode (with the center leg still on the floor), it looks pretty fine
and in 3 legs mode, not too bad i think but i will check if the legs have the good angle with the body before working on 2-3-2 system...
I still have my foot drive to install in outer feet and wheels in the center foot, I will use this legs adjustment to help me during foot drive and wheel installation...
Quand je regarde ton avant-dernière photo, il me semble que le rod avec un côté plat (à côté du octogon port) n'est pas à la même position que le mien (le plat est en arrière chez moi). En fait il semble que nos deux bottom ring sont montés à 180 degrés (avant et arrière inversés). En regardant de plus près, il semble effectivement que le bottom ring est symétrique (à part pour la place du "rod plat", qu'en penses-tu ?
ReplyDeleteJe viens de regarder les photos de James et il semble bien que ton bottom ring soit monté "à l'envers" (regarde les découpes rondes de chaque côté du power coupler qui doivent être à l'avant).

pour les power couplers, c'est symétriques donc ça doit pas avoir d'incidence
on verra bien par la suite si c'est important sinon j'inverserai
de toute façon, si j'opte pour un système 2-3-2, il y aura de la modification de chassis et pas mal de montages/démontages
a suivre donc...
