I've decided to mount the slot coins part with screws on the inner skin.
I've drilled holes into the skin and use a countersink to let the screw head be in line with the skin.
Sometimes, you have to make a slight countersunk cut into the part to let the screw perfectly sit flush.
The countersunk screw heads will be covered by the outer skin.
