#1 door hinge-micro-servo mechanism

Few explanations and especially photos of the system installed to open/close dome's pie panels.

In the previous post, you've already seen a video from outside.
now it's from the inside :

First, a photo of the custom bracket made to hold the micro-servo in the dome.
I wanted a removable system, this system is hold by 2 screws through the inner dome with counter-sinked holes. If i want to change the servo in the future with an another servo model, it will be possible (even with a classical servo) either with just a different servo or with a different bracket and servo.

When your bracket is complete (with the micro-servo attached), put the system in your dome and hold it with your hand and make tests to find the good position with the door opened and closed. When you've got the good position, mark with a pencil where to drill and make a counter-sinked hole on the inner dome and then screw your system.

I've used 3mm hardware (bolt, screw, spacer) to operate the hinge and 2mm hardware to hold the micro-servo on the bracket

Finally the 2 lasts photos to show where exactly the system has been screwed near the hinge.

I haven't found a lot of posts or articles with door hinged mechanism in detail, hope this one can help some builder.
